Approval for the Union Rowing Club's eight .to compete in the Melbourne Centenary regatta has been received by the Wanganui Rowing Association from the Now Zealand Council. The Union crew will comprise C. A. Healey, S. A. Healey, H.'Gould, A. K. G. Jackson, A. G. Moss, A. V Shep-1 pard, A. Tonks, and R. Mowat. The first four were members of tho Wanganui | eight which won the iriterprovincial j race at Wellington at Easter. T. Ditchfield, who was stroke of that crow, is -not available for the Melbourne visit. A reserve and a coxswain are yet to be appointed.
