WAIRARAPA AFFAIR
The annual ball given "oy the Wairarapa branch.; of -the..... Wanganui " Gollegiate.,School ..Old Boys'; Association was held' recently;1 and drfew members and friends from all over the district as well as many from Wellington. The Anzac ; Hall, Fea^herston, was decorated with.the association's colours, blue, black, and gold, for the occasion, and accommodated a. gay crowd of dancers. ; . •
There was one debutante, Miss> L Matthews,. daughter of .Mr. and Mrs. Charles Matthews, Oporua, Featherston. She wore a frock of cream silk net with, pink velvet sash and cape, and carried aiposy.'of cream and pink carnations. ■ ■.■;'"
