LAYING OF FOUNDATIONSTONES
■Although the programme, for the visit of the Duke of Gloucester to New Zealand has not yet been completed, it is expected that his Boyal Highness will be requested to lay the founda-tion-stones of the new Wellington railway station and the new Dunedin Post Office. Suggestions that: the Duke should perform these ceremonies have been made in the proper; quarter, and it is likely that they will be favourably considered. : ' ■■--.'.■■:'.
