GREAT CIRCLE DISTANCES

LONDON, July 23. Supplementary regulations for the Centenary Air Race provide that competitors start from one aerodrome (at present not designated) and leave at short intervals/ Their times will be corrected en route. - :

The official distances on the great circle between control points are:—Bagdad, 2533 miles; Allahabad, 2300 mftes; Singapore, 2210 miles; Darwin, 2084 miles; Charleville, 1389 miles; Melbourne, 787 miles. ': ■:-.■■".--■ >;' .-.".
