■ ■ r ; '■ • ' TIMARU, July 16. ■ A conference of.representatives of wool growers, farmers' organisations, the Crown Tenants' Association, Chambers of Commerce, the A. aiid P. Association, the Harbour Board, and the Woolbrokers' Association was held today to discuss the position regarding the cutting out of. one of the Timaru wool sales, and the dates allocated for the season's auctions. The conference. decided that two sales were sufficient for the district's requirements, and also decided to endeavour to have the present dates altered—the first sale not earlier than December 23 and the second sale not later than the first week in March. .
