ACCIDENTS

A collision between a motor-cycle-and a lorry at. the corner of Taranaki and Arthur Streets on Saturday afternoon resulted in the rider of the motorcycle, M. H. Guthrie, of. 195' Willis Street, and tho pillion ; rider, "Miss G. Brown, of- Charlotte' Avenue,' being injured. The former received, concussion and a scalp,wound.and the latter an-injury to her right foot. The Free' Ambulance took them- to hospital. While climbing a fiTe escape on-Sat-urday night, C. B. Thompson, of the Trocadero Hotel, fell and suffered two compound fractures of his left arm. Ho was taken to hospital by tho- Free Ambulance. •

Falling ori\some stairs on.Saturday night, A. New, of, 28 'Jessie .Street, fractured his left arm. He was taken to hospital by the Frco Ambulance on Sunday, morning. : ,'■ ''.'-'-.■"■'.'
