■ . ; : SYDNEY; July 10. In the quarter-final of the New South Wales amateur golf championship today, J. Ferrier beat W. E. Dobson, 5 and 4; (Thompson-beat C. C. Ruwald, 4 and 3;Vr. Eadcliffe (Queensland) beat Esplin, 5 and 4; H. Hatterslcy beat Hughes, 2 and 1.
The semi-finals on Thursday will be botween Ferrier and Hatterlsey and Eadeliffo and Thompson over thirtysix holes.
