TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH
The quarterly meeting of Trinity Methodist! Church was held in the parsonage the Rev. W. Bramwell Scott presiding ° In the absence of Mr. J. A. Martin through illness, the balance-sheet was presented by Mr. W. Binet Brown, M.A It showed a credit balance of £5 16s lOd on the quarter's working, which was regarded as highly satisfactory when compared with the heavy deficit of two years ago and the lesser deficit of last year Mr: Brown also outlined the scheme of the special effort of the next three months in order that all liabilities may be linuidated.
Very satisfactory reports were received from the different youth organisations of the Church, while the Sunday School report, expressed satisfaction that the strength '. of that department was being maintained.
Mr. C. S. Green indicated that Home and Foreign Mission affairs were receiving adequate attention, and that the returns, when complete, would bo satisfactory. The meeting resolved to do its utmost to assist the Come-to-Church Campaign in August and" to advance the interests of the Bible-in-Schools movement.
Mr. iT. Watson presented himself as a candidate for the position of a local preacher in full standing. After being, examined in the usual manner the mooting unanimously approved his application.
