PROBLEM OF THE DAY
TO SELL PRODUCTION
PRINCE ON ADVERTISING
(British Official Wireless.! RUGBY, July 7. The Prince of Wales was the guest of honour at the Advertising Association's dinner last night. In the course of his speech ho said that tho production of goods was no longer tho most pressing problem. Of late years scientists and inventors had put into the hands of producers the moans of producing goods in quantities and at prices that would have staggered their forefathers. Industrialists, being progressive people, had naturally got on to these new discoveries and inventions, and in Britain, so far as production .was concerned, they' were more than holding their own. ":
The greatest problem today, and probably for many years to come, was to find a way to sell all the goods produced. Towards, this end he was certain that good advertising would play a very vital part. Good advertising went hand in hand with salesmanship.
