In the competition, for the Williams Cup, a fourball best-ball competition, played on the Mornington links on Sunday, \the best-cards returned were:—G. Estall and C. Jacobi, 11 up; L. MeGirr and J. Hartwell, 3 up, A. Charles and D. Stratmore, 3 up.

A medal competition was won by L. McGirr, 73, 0—67, with G. Estal'l, 90, 20—70, next. Next were:—C. Jacobi, 89, 18—71: A. D. Clarke, 86, 14—72- R V Bildcrbeck. 97, 24—73.

Next weekend a stroke competition will bo played for Archbishop O'Shea's trophy, also the fourth round of the Black Cup.
