M further decided improvement has been I shown in thus round. The forty-two teamsmen aggregated 2563 points, an improvement of 5 points over their best 'previous performance, giving an individual average of 68.17, which compares very favourably with the average for the fourth round last year, 68.18. last year's average established a record, but it was subsequently raised to 68.48 in the following round. For the first time this season a draw was registered, and this has affected the position of teams in the championship to some extent. Hutt, with 7 points, have now a three-point loadj with only two matches to shoot. Brooklyn and Harbour Board registered the best combined score for the round, 960, which is also the best for the season, exceeding the best previous combined score by one point. Brooklyn have been mentioned in this-connection on the last threo occasions, and their averaeo to date, 68.25, is a. good indication of their excellent shooting
