PETONE WIN AGAIN

The Pol-one second division team added another win to its account by defeating Athletic by 23 points to 5 at Pctone. The winners gave a good display oE enterprising football, the backs showing particularly good form. Early in the game the home forwards placed Athletic on the defensive, and when the ball came out to the backs May started .a penetrating move-1 ment which ended in a try by Valk. Spence converted. A good forward rush sent Pescini over for a. try, Spence again converting. Athletic then launched an offensive, but E. Cleland saved well for Petone. Athletic 3.; Petone attacked immediately after play was resumed and J. Cleland beat the Athletic.full-back for possession, scoring a' try between the posts. Spence converted. Additional tries were scored by J. Cleland and Fuller, Spence converting one.
