THE WELLINGTON TEAM
TRAINING AND COACHING

[ The management committee of the W.H.A. has .decided, on _the recommendation of.the.selection committee, that tho Wellington representative team which is to meet Auckland on August IS iv a- match for the New Zealand Hockey Challenge Shield, is to have at least six weeks' training and- coaching beforehand. Two men will be selected for each position, and these players will bo required to undergo a concentrated training course ih the very capable hands of Mr. Alf.! Jenkins, of Courtehay Place. The selection ; of twenty-two players will be announced on July 2 or 3; and training will commence on Thursday, July 5. The players will be required 'to attend. training each .Thursday night for six weeks, and E. -Me-" Lcod, coach, will bo. present to instruct players in the finer points of the game. .
