The thirteenth annual meeting of the Hataitai Municipal Croquet Club was held recently, Mrs. Scott (president) presiding.
The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, arid showed the club to be in a satisfactory position; '. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr. Hugghis; vice-patrons, Messrs. Chambers, Brice, Cox, and Wollings; president; Mts. Marsdonj vice-president, Mrs. Brittain; hon. secretary, Mrs. Richardson (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mrs. Chambers (re-elected); captain, Mrs. Brico (re-elected); auditor, Mr. Bayfield;. committee, Mesdarnes Brighting, Thora'as, Wellings, Chisholvn, Penney, Scott, Cox; sports committee, • Mesdames Brigtiting, Thomas, Wellings; delegates to association; Mcsdames Brice and Eichardson.
■. A hearty yoto of thanks was accorded tho retiring president.
''■ The coming . season promises to be most enjoyable, as tho lawns are receiving special attention during the recess.
