CONCERT AT NEWTOWN

A successful concert was held in the Newtown Congregational- Church Hall bj' the Brooklyn Merrymakers in aid of the Sunday School Queen. An enjoyable musical programme was presented by the company. The Merrymakers made a verycolourful picture,, six young ladies being dressed in dainty evening frocks, each M a different pastel -shade, and the gentlemen wearing conventional evening dress. At the conclusion of the concert, the Key Mr. Campbell congratulated the Merrymakers on their programme and stressed the excellence of a number of their items.
