GUNMAN RESCUED BY GANG TAKEN FROM HOSPITAL 1 HAVANA, June IS. 3?ivo men with, pistols entered the University Hospital ami rescued Evilio Torres, the fifth gunman burned in yesterday's melee. They escaped with Torres in a motor-car after a revolver battle with the police.
Tho latter killed a member of the party, but it was not Torres.
A party of men armed with machineguns opened fire on a political procession in Havana on Sunday, killing 13 people and seriously injuring 60. When the attackers were driving away at a high speed their car overturned and four were shot and their bodies incinerated when the car was set on fire.
