FREE MILK ISSUE
SMITH FAMILY EFFORT
Arrangements have been made to continue the free issue of. .milk to undernourished children in the city of Wellington, commencing on Junes 11. With the co-operation of- the "Wellingtbn Dairy Farmers' Co-operative Society, the Rahui Suppliers' Society, the City Corporation Milk Department, the Headmasters' Association, the Catholic Education Trust Board, and many generous donors of cash, the Smith Family has found it possible to continue the good work which proved such a success last year. It is hoped with the support of the public to carry work on for five months at least. The cost will be; £600, which will purchase approximately 16,000 gallons of pure pasteurised milk delivered at' the schools. ' Funds in hand amount to £166, and the Smith Family trusts that citizens f will liberally ■sii.pp6rt.the scheme. Donations should be forwarded direct to the Smith Family, 9S--95: Wakefield Street.
