MAKURA WITHDRAWN
The E.M.S. Makura has been withdrawn at "Wellington from the San. Francisco service for overhaul and is now berthed at the Clyde Quay "Wharf. Yesterday her crew, numbering 143, were paid off. The ATakura will go on to the floating dock before she resumes [.her running in the service, on June 2§<
