LONDON, May 15. Tho following players havo been asked to hold themselves in readiness to play in one side or tho other in tho cricket Test trial, to be played at Lord's commencing on Juilo 2:— H. Sutcliffo (Yorkshire), B. E. S. Wyatt (Warwickshire), W. B. Hammond (Gloucestershire), the Nawab of Pataudi (Worcestershire'), L. Ames (Kent), James Langridge (Sussex), B. W. V. Robins (Middlesex), H. Verity (Yorkshire), M. S. Nichols {Essex), M. Leyland (Yorkshire), M. J. Turnbull (Glamorgan), C. P. "Walters (Worcestershire), B. H. Valentine (Kent), and E. Hendren (Middlesex).
