WAIWETU LADIES' CLUB
The spoon competition by the Waiwetu Ladies' Club was won by "Mrs. G. Findlay (27) 3 up,-Miss' Cochrane (26) was 3 down, and Mrsh W. T. Wilson [14) and Mrs. W. Ryan (15) 4 down.: Mrs. Findlay also won the weekly ball competition, and she.also scored three points in the .Winter Cup. Mrs. G.-Hatfield (17) 3 down, scored two points, and Mrs. Wilson (14) 4 dowii, one point. Other cards in.the weekly ball ■were Miss Milne (20), Miss Davidson (17) and Miss Findlay (20), all 5 dowm. Next Sunday at 9.30 a.m.'players will participate in the competition- for the Adtearoa Cup and a stroke competition will be played in conjunction for the weekly ball: The draw is as follows:—Mrs Evison and Mrs. Ryan; Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Hatfield; Miss Davidson and Miss Milne;. Miss Horman and Miss "FarleyMiss Findlay and Miss A. Hog"- Mr« Maitland and Mrs. Findlay; Jliss Chittev and Miss Veitchj Miss Dixon and: Miss Pearce. Should other members wish to take part, partners-niay• be arranged.
