PETONE-HUTT GAS BOARD
A meeting of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board was held last evening, Mr. W. G. Lodder presiding ' ihe works manager (Mr. C. Shaw) in hw report for. Ihe standard VI girls of Eastern Hutt bchool wrote expressing appreciation' of the use of the gas cooker donated to the Hutt Technical College. A letter was received from the Minister ot industries and Commerce agreeing to the calorific value of gas being maintained temporarily at 460 British thermal units.
