BYLAW OFFENCES

Offenders against the bylaws were deilt with by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M in the Magistrate s Court yesterday. For permitting a person to ride on the running board of a motor vehicle, Robert E. Foothead was ordered to pay the costs.

Insufficient lighting on motor vehicles cost John T. Backhouse and George Roberts £1 each, and William C. Burge

On charges of having no drivers' licences Lawrence M.. Tulloch was fined 10s, and James H. Currie and Peter G. "Foote were ordered to pay costs.

Alfred E. Broderiek was ordered to pay costs on a charge of failing to give way to traffic on the right.

George T. Coleman was ordered to pay costs for driving in a wrong direction in a one-way street.

£00 Shee was fined 10s for turning a motor-truck in Cuba Street.

For procuring a licence to drive a motor vehicle while disqualified, Amor G. Fagerholm was fined £5, and on a charge of dangerous driving he was fined £1. Trindall Richardson was fined 10s for dangerous driving.
