The 30th annual report of the Levin Memorial Home is a cheerful and gratifying account of good'work done at the home, and for the benefit of uiauy girls.
There are at present 2-1 resident girls, their ages ranging from three years to fourteen; all attend school, two are at the Technical College, and some of the little ones are at the kindergarten. A matter for pleasure and congratulation is the fact that the "old girls" have such a keen interest in the home, many visit it after leaving, and one this year bad several of tho present girls for a holiday visit, which, wag greatly enjoyed. A tribute is paid to the work of the matron, Miss Kichardson, and to that of Mrs. Millar and Mrs. Rowlands. _ Miss Osborue continues her good service in the St. Joha Cadet Division, and also with tt/e life-saving training, in which tho Lyall Bay Club assisted. Twelve girls passed a re-examination in tne ambulance work, two passed both first aid aad borne nursing, nine qualified for a one-year service stripe, and another for a three years' star.
