The Governor-General of Australia (Sir Isaac Isaacs) sends greetings from the Dominion of Australia to Lord Bledisloe: — Dear Lord Elcdisloc, By what promises to bo yet another and v a most useful link between two great Dominions of the King, I have pleasure in sending you this message of good will. Day by day the unit's of Empire seem to bo drawing closer, and if this experiment across the Tasman £>ca succeeds, as I hope it will, it ifrust do much to consolidate and strengthen the relations of New Zealand and Australia. With all good wishes, Believe me, Yours sincerely, Isaac A. Isaacs. The envelope is endorsed as follows:— "This envelope, by the courtesy of Flight-Lieutenant (J. T. P. Ulm, A.F.0., will be carried to New Zealand in his aeroplane Faith in Australia." In a message to the people of New Zealand, the Governor-General of New South Wales (Sir Philip Game) says that Mr. Ulm- has done much to strengthen tho material links which unite the two couutries:—"l am indeed grateful for the opportunity afforded mo'by the Prime Minister of Australia of sending greetings from the people of New South AVales to the people of Now- Zealand, by Fliglit-Licutcnant Ulm, who has- done so much to strengthen tho material links, which unite us. I am writing my message in the far north-west, and feel that it will gather up tho good will of all men and women on the land on its long journey to Sydney, and'trust-that Flight-Lieutenant Ulm will curry them with speed ami success to New Zealand." . ,-.
