The autumn exhibition o£ the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., and from 7.30 to 9 p.m., at the Art Gallery in Whitmore Street. ' ' .. .." .
A donation of two guineas to the Recreation Glub of the Wellington Central Fire Brigade has been received from Mr.-8.-H. Price, of C 6 Aiu-ora Terrace. Mr. Price has also written to the brigade expressing his appreciation of. its good work. at his premises in Willis Street on the night of April 26, when there-.was an •.outbreak ot ifiro.
