INDIAN MYSTERY

CALCUTTA, May 11.

A consignment of gold bars to the value of nearly £8500 mysteriously disappeared in transit from Amritsar to Bombay bY the frontier mail train yesterday.

A firm of Amritsar Indian bankers consigned the gold to tho firm's Bombay office.

ITifty arrests have been made, including two train guards, a parcels clerk, and' a ticket collector.
