R.S.A. ACTIVITY
EGYPTIAN CABARET
The committee of the Island Bay IJcfurned Soldiers' Association Auxiliary lias been busy turning the local Masonic Hall into a veritable paradiso of colour and mystery, with a view to creating an outstanding Egyptian Cabaret, with full spectacular effect, for next Tuesday night. No undertaking of Such an extent has been attempted in Island Bay before, and the committee is deserving of great praise for introducing'a scone of such interest and so, many attractions. Signs and sounds of the desert, the sheiks and their harems, mystery, incense, and spirit of wisdom all will be portrayed. An Egyptian orchestra will take a leading part in the function, and special displays will be made by tho pupils of Miss Phyllis Oliver. A further'novelty will be ithe cabaret supper served at Egyptian tables. Prizes will be given for best Eastern costumes.
