"YTOTICE is hereby given that the under--1-' mentioned Licences will require to be renewed as from June 1, 1934. Particulars as to fees are as- follows:—Motor Drivers' Licences: Fee ss. Taxis plying for hire: Hire Licence £1, Stand' Licence £3, Driver's Licence ss. Motor Vehicles plying for hire: Hire Licence £1, Stand Licence £2, Driver's Licence ss. Motor Omnibus Driver's Licence: Fee ss. Horse Vehicles plying for hire: Hire Licence £1, Stand Licence £2,^ Driver's Licence Is. Heavy Motor Vehicle fees (for moto:-----vehicles not carrying passengers and for vehicles engaged solely in carrying passengers). For class of vehicle and scale of fees see New Zealand Gazette dated February 10, 1932, pages 300 and 307. A copy of the Gazette can be seen at the Traffic Office, Lower Cuba Street, Wellington, where all information as to fees payable may be obtained. Licence Fees /or Horse-drawn Vehicles, 1934-35: Horse-1 drawn Vehicles: One pair wheels: VA tons to 2& tons, £2; 2'& tons to 3 tons. £2 10s; 3 tons to 3% tons. £3; more than 3% tons, a, fee of £8, plus £1 for each ton or part of a ton in excess of 4 tons. •Two Pairs of Wheels: 3 tons to 3V4 tons £3; 3% tons to 4 tons, £3 10s; 4 tons to iVz tons, £4; 4% tons to 5 tons, £4 10s; 5 tons to 5Vi tons, £5; 5% tons to 6 tons, £5 10s; 6 tons to 6H tons, £C; 6% tons to 7 tons, £10; 7 tons to 8 tons, £12; move than 8 tons, a fee of £14, plus £1 for each ton or part of a ton in excess of 8% tons. Heavy Motor-vehiela fees and Horse-drawn Vehicle Fees affect all owners of such vehicles in the area comprising Wellington City and Boroughs of Petone, Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, and Eastbourne, the .Town District of Johnsonville, and the Hutt and Makara Counties. Motor Drivers' Licences: The renewal of motor drivers' Licenoes, with the exception of taxi and omnibus drivers' Licences, will be dealt with in the Concert Chamber. Town Hall, from May 28 to June 2, 1934. Taxi and Omnibus Drivers' Licences can be obtained at the Traffic Office, Civic Chambers, Lower Cuba Street.
