CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
; The most successful club in last week's matches was again Pctone, who fielded seven teams and suffered defeat only in the senior A match against Wellington College Old Boys. Wellington did much bettor than in tlie previous week by winning five out of seven matches, while tho sarno result was achieved by University.' Another club which did well was Marist, whose six teams scored four wins, a draw, and a loss. Those- remits leave tho club championship position as follows: —Petono 3.4, University 24, Hutt 23, Wellington College Old Boys 16, Athletic and St. Pat's Old Boys 15 each, Ponek© and Wellington 14 each, Marist 13, Johnsonvillo and Miramar 11 each, Upper Hutt 10, Berhampore 9, Kaiwarra 8, Eastbourne 7, Onslow, Oriental, Porirua, and Seatoun 6 each, Institute, Melrose-Selwyn, and Moera 4 each, Karori and. Technical Old Boys 2 each, Taita 0.
