SOCIETY OF FRIENDS

The annual general meeting of the Society of Friends which opened in Wellington yesterday was continued this morning, when reports from .the various centres in New Zealand were considered. The meeting, which will continue until Tuesday, 4s presided over by Mr. Philip J. Thome, clerk to the Society of Friends in New Zealand. Overseas representatives are Misses L. F. Morlarid and M. Jennie Street (England), Miss Ruth Swarm (Sydney), and Mrs. F. J. Williams (Papua).
