PUBLIC SERVICE SUPERANNUATION

The quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board was held at the boardroom, Wellington, on Thursday, Mr. J. W. Macdonald presiding. Eleven contributors who had been retired by reason of age or length of service were granted allowances of a total of £3521 per annum, and eight coutributors, retired as medically unfit, were granted allowances totalling ,£826 per annum. In three cases consideration was deferred pending further medical reports. Twenty widows and fifteen children were granted the statutory allowances, amounting to £1010 per annum. Other matters concerning the adminis-l tratipn of the fund received attention. I
