The question was raised in the Housa of Commons as to what were articles ot agricultural and horticultural pro* duce in regard to which it' was proposed 'to make this country, self-supporting, .ana what articles if> was intended should be imported in, part from, the Dominions and foreign, countries.

The Prims Minister said that it was impracticable within the limitation of question and answer to deal.with these wide issues, but he assured, the House that in the commercial negotiations with Holland and other countries tha continuation of the general develop* ment of home agriculture would not b/ jeopardised.
