ADDITIONS TO HALL
The hall at the rear of St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Britannia Street, Petone, has been added to and renovated and was unofficially opened at a social function held on Wednesday evening. The official opening ceremony will be performed by the Bishop of Wellington on May 23 A stage 25ft by 20ft has been built. Sunday school is held in the hall, which was originally built by the young men of the parish for a social hall. On this occasion, as previously, all the work was done by voluntary labour..
