DECLINE IN LONDON
United Press Association -IU Klertrlc Telr eranh-Copyrlahi (Received May 11, 11 a.m.) LOXDOX, «May 10. At the sheepskin sales 2807 bales were offered, including 985 Xew Zealand. There was a good attendance but poor competition. Continental buyers were chief operators. About 40 per cent, were sold. Compared with sales held March 23, prices were cheaper. Australian merino combings were TVs per cent, down; clothings were withdrawn; fine crossbreds were 10 per cent, lower. Xew Zealand fine crossbreds, when sold, were a percent, down; medium and low were 10 per cent. down. Murray, Koberl.s, and Co., Ltd., have received the following cabled advice from London, dated • May 10:—'-Sheepskins, merino and fine crossbred, declined ~Vi per cent.; sheepskins, crossbred coarse to medium, declined 1U per cent.; largo withdrawals.'' LAMB MARKET "LOOKS HIGHER."
