RUGBY FOOTBALL
TOMORROWS ATTRACTIONS.
Tho only, undefeated team "in the local! senior A grade Rugby football championship competition will be appearing at Athletic Park tomorrow afternoon for the first time this ,'geason. This is Hutt, recognised as a strong combination and one popularly regarded as having bright championship prospects. However, it is yet to ha proved that they are unbeatable, and in the bidding for championship honours Poneke already have shown quite a capable hand. Poneke meet Hutt tomorrow, and the contest should be on 3. of the keenest and most interesting to date. Both teams are in good shape, strongly served fore and aft; Events so' far have created much interest in the competition, and it is likely that there will be a large crowd at Athletic Park to see Hutt and Poneke do battle. Preceding this contest will be n fourth-grade match between Berhampore and Poneke. Other events of note tomorrow include the meeting of Wellington College Old Boys and Wellington at Xewtown Park, and it is expected that Old Boys will find Wellington a harder proposition .than is indicated by their position on the championship table.-
In building up its strength the Seatpun Rugby Football Club is endeavouring to maintain a fourth grade team as well as others'. There are vacancies to be filled in the fourth grade team,, and the club, by notice elsewhere in this issue, invites new members' under 19 years of age. Excellent training facilities are provided by the club at the Kongotai gymnasium, and prospective players are assured of being well coached.
