APPEARANCE OF SUNSPOT
SAN FKANCIS'JO, April 21.
The appearance on tin sun's face of a giant sunspot, estimated at 10,000 miles wide, which is the first of a series duo to'appear during the nott twelve years, will, astronomers predict, bring storms, rains, electrical disturbances, and climatic upheavals or! a'rceorcl nature. The spot is four days rom the eastern rim of the sun's face, and will be plainly visible through even a small telescope. ; , . One of the major manifestations will bo electrical, and a pe-iocT of violent static may be noted by'radio operators.
