FINDING OF MARINE COURT

SUVA, April 6,

A Marine Court investigatqd the stranding of the Waihemo. It found that tho master had committed an error of judgment not amounting to negligence and not requiring the censure of the Court.

The master was ordered to pay the cost of the inquiry, -fiS Ss.

The . Waihomo from. Newcastle wont ashor.e in Navula- passage, Fiji, last Sunday, when approaching Luutoka, where she was bound to load raw sugar for Vancouver.. She was refloated a few days later. Built in 1919, the Waihemo has a gross tonnage of D 627, and is engaged in the Union Company's cargo scrvico from Pacific Coast ports to New Zealand and Australia.
