SYDNEY, April 6,

A message from Toowoomba, Queensland, states that 14 business premises in the main street of Gatton were destroyed, by fire early this morning.

The blazo raged for hours owing to the fact that no water was available.

Tho buildings destroyed comprised several shops with dwellings attached, also the branch of the Bank of New South Wales.
