ELECTRICAL LINESMEN
COUNCIL EMPLOYEES
The:-''Cdriciliation Council was engaged yesterday in -Jiearing an industrial dispute between the Wellington City Council and the linesmen and linesmen's assistants which it employs in the electrical department. The _irocisding.s, which were taken in committee, resulted in an agreement being reached. The workers were given a slight increase on the preceding 'i'ates.-!pf wages. Linesmen are to receive Is lid an hour, and linesmen's assistants Is 9Vid an hour. Other classes will remain pratically in conformity with those of the previous agreement.
Mr. P, Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, presided.
