TONIGHT'S ATTRACTION

Public interest-in the'j-Ea'st'e'r Show and Industrial Exhibition is being wellmaintained, large crowds attending again last evening. Although primarily a trade exhibition, .the show has an irresistible appeal for the general public who find much to interest them.

The feature on the programme last night was a physical culture display by pupils of the Jenkins Physical Culture Studio. Pour girls,-four boys, and ten men participated, and they gave a remarkable demonstration of hand to hand balancing ..feats.'and acrobatic turns, generally. . . ~"'."

Tonight the massed trades display, inaugurated by the Wellington Show Association last year/ will enter the second round. The teams- consist of eight girls and a loader dressed by the firms they represent. Certain 'military evolutions are performed by .the girls, points being awarded as follows, the winning team being the one with the. .greatest aggregate .points over four porforiuanecs:.^-Dress; and- originality/ 10 points; appearance "and; neatness, 10 points; inarching, deportment, and execution of ;movements, 70 points; captain's bearing and correctness of commands, 10 points. Tho winning team will hold the r-Nimmo Challenge. Cup for one/year, and cash prizes will be given by the Show -Asssociation. Altogether nearly 200 girls take part m the display. MODEL AEROPLANES.
