SIR WALTER LEE'S MINISTRY

(Received March 16, 2.30 p.m.) HOBAKT, This Bay. Having tendered the resignation of his Government, Mr. J. C. McPhee, the Premier of Tasmania, recommended the Governor to send for Sir Walter Lee, who accepted the commission and formed a Liberal Ministry, as follows:— Premier, Treasurer, and Minister controlling Hydfo-electrie Department: Sir Walter Lee. Chief Secretary and Minister of Kailways and Mines: Mr. C. E. James. Attorney-General and Minister of Education: Mr. H. S. Baiter. Mines, Works, Agriculture, , and Forests: Mr. Neil Campbell. Ministers without portfolios: Messrs.

A. Wardlaw, E. Hobbs, and E. Turner. Sir Walter Lee was Premier in 19i6, also in 1923. Mr. McPhee is retiring from polities on account of ill health.
