OLYMPIC HARRIERS

ANNUAL MEETING

The seventeenth annual meeting of the Olympic Harrier Club was held last night. Iho annual report stated that, chiefly owing to the failure of members to take advantage of training facilities, the club had not been to the fore in inter-club events. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the president said that it was pleasing to note the increased interest taken in the 20-mile race at the end of the season. Xcxt year's race promised to be the most representative to date. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. J. R. Perston; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. C. Phipson, L. Garnham; deputy-captain, Mr. R. Bezer; treasurer, Mr. C. Campbell; delegates to centre and harrier sub-committee, Messrs. L. Bond and F. Hodson; selectors, Messrs J R Perston, R. Garnham, and R. ' Bezer; handicapper, Mr. J. R. Perston; starter, Mr. C. Phipson; timekeepers, Messrs. L. Lovell, K. Shaw. A. Barn; publicity officers, Messrs. D. Sunderland and R Bezer; trustees, Messrs. C. Campbell and J R. Perston; Memorial Cup trustees, Messrs F. Hodson, Alabaster, and Wilson- eeriern! committee, Messrs. C. Phipson, C''Bell J. Lanpr. W. Scatchard, J. Blanclifield,' D.'
