FEDERATION MEETING
(By Telegraph.—Press! Association:)" CHRISTCHUKCH, This Day. At the fiist meeting o£ the Xew Zealand Cj cling Federation under the new constitution, the cliairman (Ml. J. Kennedy) said that the meeting was. called to reorganise the federation; -which was for the purpose of dealing with disputes con< corning the, interests of" the • two controlling bodies. It was decided to grant affiliation' to) the Xew Zealand Amateur Cycling Asi soeiation. A letter was received from the controlling body of cycling in tie -world, the C.U.L,.. asking' for the New Zealand <le-< finition of "amateurism.", The definition' was required, i,t was stated,- for the purpose of, drawing up a uniform definition' for the use of all affiliated bodies.
