Two rinks from the Bryant and May . match factory visited the Newtown Bowling Club on Saturday afternoon. The - games resulted:—West (Newtown), 26: .' yZ t6ey (Bl"}ant and May), 17. Petersen (Newtown), 21; Carthew (Bryant, and Ma}), 20. At the afternoon tea adjournment Mr. W. McLay, manager of the Bryant and May factory, and a past president of the Newtown Club, presented to the club a • framed photograph of himself. He was 'thanked by Captain Petersen, who also warmly welcomed the visitors. Newtown will pay a return visit to the Bryant and May green next Saturday.
