Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for March 2 being given in parentheses: — Cotton. —Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 6.65 d per lb (6.55 d); April delivery, G.3od per lb (6.28 d). Rubber.—Para, 4 7-8 d per lb (4%d); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 5 3-16J per lb (4 15-16 d). Jute. —March-April shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £16 5s per ton (£l6 15s). Copra.—March-April shipment, South Sea, £7 15s per ton (same); smoked, £7 2s 6d per ton (same); plantation, Babaul, £8 10s per ton (same). Linseed oil, £20 5s per ton (same). Turpentine, 50s 3d per cwt (49s 9d). Ormiridium, unchanged.
