MURDER IN SAMOA
NATIVES AWAITING TRIAL , APIA, March 6. : A second fatal stabbing within sir weeks occurred at the village of Saasaai, Savaii, on February 26 the result of a quarrel following wedding' festivities. A man named Usoalii was stabbed in the stomach with the serrated blade of a swordstick and died later in hospital. The weapon was found. The assailant, Tamisi, was arrested by District Officer Bower and sent to Apia, under escort. Two Samoans now await trial for murder as the result of separate affrays. " " 7
