SALES JN WALL STREET EVE OF CANCELLATION WASHINGTON, March 6. Mr. Richard Whitney, /president' of the New York Stock Exchange, testi-' fied before the Senate Committee that the J. L. Morgan Company sold' 4500 shares in United ' Aircraf t stock just before the air-mail contracts were cancelled, all aviation shares thereafter falling sharply. .. Various other sales .were made, similarly by other individuals and companies, but Morgan was the most prominent among them.
