TRAFFIC INSPECTOR'S SUIT

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHEISTCHURCH, This Day. Charles Seymour Trillo, proprietor of Gold Band Taxis, was the defendant in a libel action .heard before Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., this morning. The city traffic inspector, J. Bourke, claimed £75 damages, alleging that Trillo, in a letter to the chairman of the bylaws committee of the City Council on December 19, had charged him with being guilty of perjury, gross misconduct in the discharge of his duties, and that he had acted unjustifiably and discreditably. The case, which is a sequel to the prosecution of a Gold Band taxi driver i for a traffic breach, is proceeding.
