ADELAIDE, March 5. In a cricket match . against West Australia, South Australia, in the first innings, made 257 (Whitington 50, Parker 46, Moyle 45). Ditchburn took four wickets for 67, Jones four for 81. West Australia, in their first innings, made 140 (Lovelock 33 not out). Wall took two wickets for 26 and Grimmett seven for 57. Western Australia followed on and lost five wickets for' 93.
