Amendments to the King's regulations and Admiralty instruction hay» been issued providing that the\Pope be regarded throughout the Empire as a foreign Sovereign entitled to a salute of 21 guns, nuncios to 19 guns, inter-nun-cios to 17, and legates to salutes according to their diplomatic status.
